The son of a humble rural family from Eastern Bhutan, spent his early childhood in the grazing fields of his village, whipping herds of cows from one field to another and he has a passion for his country and a desire to share it with others.
After his completion of High School from Western part of Bhutan, Haa in 1999, he received tour guide training and licensing from the Department of Tourism (Now Tourism Council of Bhutan) under the Ministry of Trade, (Now Ministry of Economic Affairs) and since he has become one of the country's most sought after guides, escorting groups of many nationalities.
